| These are just some of the ways Brookside helps our customers be green: We use highly efficient watering systems (drip-systems) in which we use the best hardware for maximum durability and longevity. We encourage planting drought-tolerant species that require less water. We are now implementing "rain-catch systems" that will reduce overall water consumption. Our Pondless waterfall features can be put on timers to save energy. The pumps used in our water features are high-efficiency pumps using much less energy than regular pumps. We use recycled paper for our design drawings. We offer recycled tree mulch as an alternative to processed landscape mulch. Installing a water feature actually uses less water over a period of one year than maintaining a lawn. We also encourage a part of your landscape be covered in water of some sort to help maintain the natural wildlife (dragonflies, birds, etc) that live in your area.
